A reference to the classic kerosene oil in a new rendition.
The Petroleum collection presents a new interpretation of the traditional kerosene lamp. The new rendition is primarily in the light base, where the kerosene wick replaces the more affordable candle for many. Thus the kerosene lamp becomes a candle holder and transforms the base
into a simpler form. However, the inspiration is reflected in the hat of the kerosene lamp,
which, in its simplicity and flatness, recalls this detail.
The combination of pure Bohemian crystal with an oak or concrete base adds to the simplicity and clarity of form of the candlestick. The collection includes several colour combinations that combine valuable materials well and become a suitable complement to the for any interior.
Combining crafts
For the Petroleum collection, we have combined Czech glassmaking craftsmanship with traditional oak woodworking and the timelessness of timeless concrete. All parts of the candlestick are made in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the glass dominant part in the Pačinek glass factory under the supervision of master glassmakers Jiří Pačinek.
